Might be the best thing for him. He's got some serious speed, but also he's kinda small at 5'10. On the outside the bigger guys can handle that but throwing fades and things just won't work as well. That would have left him inside, and with cracraft, baker, sweet, lewis, thompson there is just so much depth. It's been talked about how much Grinch values speed, and a guy like Green really could do some great stuff on defense, and he has the WR experience to know what they are trying to do.

A year learning the defense with some S&C and he could be a great Nickel if he has the edge to lay some hits on people.
