There is so much competition in LA in every category every night of the week: live music, standup comedy, every sport from pro to semi and high school... plus 90% of the residents who don't live in a refrigerator box under a bridge are 1st generation at best

If folks in LA want to see standup comedy, they should"ve been watching USC in that 2nd quarter. Talk about giving away the game to UO.

I agree the crowd is pathetic. Even more pathetic is it is likely larger than their average of 60k.... the highest average in the conference this year. This is one of the reasons the conference is not taken seriously.

The greater LA basin contains about 18.7 million people. There should be no excuses for sc's lack of numbers, same for Ucla. Contrast that with Pullman and the greater Pullman area and it's a joke what those southern CA teams can't put butts in their seats. The Cougs do quite well percentage wise when looking at the numbers.
