Is wrecking the eagles. I’ve got no dog in this fight and this is fun to watch him work.

He also had 3 offsides in row trying to stop the “brotherly shove” at the goal line. The team had 4 in a row. One more and Philly would have been given the TD.
Luvu went viral, but not for the right reasons.

He made some great plays and was constantly in the Eagles backfield.

He also supermanned over the Eagles OLine multiple times before the ball was snapped. The positive of that was I learned a new NFL rule, which to my surprise, I haven’t yet seen the chiefs benefit from…yet.

True at all levels. In NFHS, we called this the "God rule."

NFHS:
SECTION 9 UNFAIR ACTS
ART. 1 . . . A player or nonplayer or person(s) not subject to the rules shall not hinder play by an unfair act which has no specific rule coverage.
ART. 2 . . . No team shall repeatedly commit fouls which halve the distance to the goal line.
ART. 3 . . . No player shall hide the ball under a jersey.
ART. 4 . . . No player shall use a kicking tee in violation of Rule 1-3-4.
ART. 5 . . . Neither team shall commit any act which, in the opinion of the -referee, tends to make a travesty of the game.
PENALTY: Arts. 1, 2, 5 – Unfair act – (S27) – the referee enforces any penalty he/she considers equitable,
including the award of a score; Art. 2 – Repeated fouls – the game may be forfeited; Art. 3 – Hiding the ball
under a jersey – (S27) – 15 yards basic spot; Art. 4 – Using illegal kicking tee (S27) – 15 yards basic spot

NCAA Rule 9:
Unfair Acts
ARTICLE 3 The following are unfair acts:
a. A team refuses to play within two minutes after ordered to do so by the referee
b. A team repeatedly commits fouls for which penalties can be enforced only by halving the distance to its goal line.
c. An obviously unfair act not specifically covered by the rules occurs during the game This includes substitutes, coaches or any other persons subject to the rules, other than a player or official, interfering in any way with the ball or a player while the ball is in play (AR 4-2-1-II, 9-2-3-I and 9-2-3-IV)

PENALTY— Unsportsmanlike conduct. The referee may take any action they consider equitable, which includes directing that the down be repeated, including assessing a 15-yard penalty, awarding a score, or suspending or forfeiting the game.

It makes perfect sense. While the ball is on the goal line it can’t move any closer. Eventually the eagles would have jumped forcing the ball back 5 yards so a defense could keep doing this until that happens with zero downside.

There’s a few scenarios where taking penalties can manipulate the clock too (ie the 5 yards of a penalty is worth taking if it wastes 5-6 seconds off the play clock. I’ve always thought there’s some scenarios where throwing 20 guys on the field on defense would pencil out in that way. Or an in play offensive penalty would be beneficial to keep the clock in motion for a team that has the lead late in the game.

I would be on board with some penalties - particularly late in the game - either adding or removing time from the clock, depending on the situation and on who benefits.

You think its just coincidence that the nation learned of this two weeks before Roger Goodell bequeaths the Chiefs with the NFL's first three-peat?
