That isn't exactly clear at all. He put his name in the transfer portal a big difference from actually leaving. But with him having a kid and being so far away its sure understandable.

Hope we can retain him but no doubt he has thought it over. He was destined to be a starter.

I thought it was Chance Moore who had the child, not Cannon. It will be interesting to see if he ends up closer to his East Coast home/family. I've seen that reason given before by WSU athletes and they end up going to another school not even in the same time zone as their home.
