There’s a pecking order like there’s always been. WSU will ramp up their NIL, and we’ll likely settle into the top-60 or 70 of all programs where we’ve pretty much always resided.

hes already blown any shot of an nfl,career with his play this year imo, and probably half of his nil portal offers. I wouldn’t want him or pay any serious nil for him. He honestly looked like he just got baked every day and ate nachos in front of the tv.

I see any kids in the portal jumping for more money. Look at all the QBs and greed is now playing into their decisions.

Jefferson is exhibit A for why you don't go for multi-year deals to 18-22 year Olds. The haves of college football could simply bench him for a year and enter the portal looking for his 1.5 million dollar replacement. Jefferson 1.5 mil is simply a sunk cost at that point. But for a school like WSU a 200k bust would be an anvil for the duration of the contract.
