Having never seen him play, but this does sound like a good start. Generally, Riley has done well evaluating players.

Agree, I haven’t seen him play either but seems like a solid player at a position of big need. There are rumors of 1 more commit.

Only Save is in these days with the rumours, I must admit I am not paying any attention other than right here. Keep us informed SaveFerris.

Too much has flipped on it's head. Getting kicked out of the party and priced out isn't a lot of fun.

The money given to some of our former players is crazy. I am finding it hard to believe these numbers can continue in the future.

Yeah, UW spent nearly 13 million on NIL and Coach for 18th place in a 18 team league last year. Now going to spend 12 plus and see if they can improve. College hoop is now a professional league.

This is going to bring a lot of rebounding and defense. This team is going to be more physical than this past team. I am curious to see what Riley can do on offense with these players.

I'm less than impressed with these pickups, especially the last two. Riley's gonna have to do better or it's gonna be a long 3-4 more years.

Ugbo from BSU is a awesome pick up.

Emeli Yalaho is a mixed bag, in that we don't know how good he will be.

Yalaho came from a pretty bloody damn good NCAA tournament, highly seeded Texas Tech team.

So he could have been, might would have been a good player on a normal team, if he had been on a normal team, that was buried behind a bunch of NBA players on tech's team.

Or he could just be bad. We don't know.

He does have good 6-8 240 BANGER, good rebounder size.

We will have to wait a see on, about him.

Simon Hildebrandt doesn't seem like a good player, but he played against Purdue(one of the better teams in NCAA tournament.), in the NCAA tournament, so a real iffy maybe he is better than he seems, than I, you, others think.

He is from Canada.

I think he will be a 2 year semi project, but we will have to wait and see.

Also another thing to consider, is that these 3 players are stepping down in levels, from the levels they were at, to play against the lower level WCC competition(only about 3,4,5 WCC teams are higher level, the rest are at least semi lower level(WSU finished 5th, 6th against that(So these 3 players might do better against the semi lower level WCC, then they did at higher levels.)

This is just speculation but I don’t think any of these recruits are Riley’s primary targets. I think he might be filling the roster with players who he thinks can fill a role and address certain weaknesses but I don’t think we’ve seen his prime targets.

In filling these spots with foreign players who I believe still have visa restrictions on NIL money he might be saving that money to make a more attractive/lucrative push for his 2 or 3 prime targets.

In short I don’t think we’ve seen the best of next seasons recruits. At least I sure hope not.

The Transfer PG Riley picked up that scored about 11 ppg and about 3 assist per game, and about 38% from 3, and Ugbo were, are at least semi primary targets.

Hildebrandt, and Yalaho, were, are NOT even remotely close to close to being primary targets.

I think the PG Martin has potential but the rest I’m holding out hope for but I’m skeptical at best. Ugbo didn’t do anything against WSU last year and was only able to scrap out ten minutes a game at BSU. BSU had 3 games in the Crown Tournament and he went scoreless in the last two. I put both him and Yalaho in the same wait and see category
