I thought Don MacLean was very complimentary of the Cougs, admitted he hadn't seen them much but was impressed. If this team takes care of the ball they can play with anyone, 11 turnovers in the first half kept Cal in the game, only 4 in the 2nd half, that's one of reasons the Cougs pulled away. A lot of things to fix and room for improvement, if they keep improving they can make the tournament. Ted and Don rambled a bit, but I don't really care, I can watch the game, that's what TV is for. If that was a radio broadcast, I wouldn't have known what was going on. Early Watson also said something interesting after the game. He said as good as CJ Eleby was, this team might be better without him because they are more balanced and it forces more people to step up. Don't know that I agree with that, but there is something to it, time will tell. Tough, tough game against Stanford on Sat, not expecting a win, but if they play well they are capable of beating Stanford. They have size, but so do we, I am starting to like how Smith uses Abogidi, Jackson and Markovesky (sp?) between the 3 you have 15 fouls to give, don't want to waste them, but it allows them to be aggressive. Big man depth has not been a luxury in Cougar basketball history.
