I did not watch the game. It sounds like the cougs were intimidated for whenever reason. Once that happens ,it is mowing time.
I never like getting overly technical on these type things, but really, there is something fundamentally screwy about a team being this bad, this often in between fleeting bouts of semi-competence. Bespeaks of a glaring gap in coaching oversight of the players. Possibly.
I guess you can look at such glaring ups and downs either way. Might be bad coaching or prep on the good nights, might be good job of coaching up on the good nights.
One thing on turnovers. I have been saying all year that too many of our turnovers have come in the paint trying to get the ball to the low post. Sunday was an extreme, but the only aberration was the amount, not the trend. Clifford is just so slow to react, and passing is the weakest part of Hawks overall well rounded skill set.
