Pretty poor game by most except Daniels. Hinson looked decent getting a start. I was hoping for better inside defense by Bernstein. Flynn had a really rough game

honestly i dont think utep is as bad as you may think..... they have dealt with a lot of adversity this year already....

I did not see the game, but noticed the big discrepancy at the fouls/foul line.

It is tough to win on the road.The players have to play with great effort and focus for 40 minutes to win. If they expect to win ball games on the road they cannot let up .

I know this will sound like an excuse, but terrible travel issues for the team. Wreck on 195 delayed arrival in Spokane. Team ended up split up on 2 different flights and got in 7 hours late to El Paso. Maybe having charter flights like Tony wanted are a bigger deal than people thought. El Paso is tough to get to in ideal situation

I can accept some of that but the players have to step up when the game is on the line. Unless some wealthy booster steps up, the idea of charter flights are but a dream.

I almost didn't bring it up, but just one more negative factor in having hoops success in Pullman. Great teams can overcome things like tough travel, but WSU is always going to need to overachieve a bit, and things like tough travel don't help

I agree but several players just are not hitting their shots and not playing with the urgency that is needed to win games. There are good players everywhere and the difference between players is usually not that much except for the great ones. The players who give 100% and focus are going to come out on top in most of the battles. That translates to winning the ball games.

true, and not getting to the foul line is caused by standing around jacking three's and not penetrating into the lane enough
