We got screwed by the Alamo Bowl. The PAC 12 tie in blew up in our face because we got WSU. Colorado would have been a great opponent, they would have filled the tie in just fine. I think WSU and Oregon State(if they had been eligible) were given mercy tie-ins because of what happened to them. No way WSU should have gotten placed in this game, it is a prestigious Primetime Fox game, huge payout, history of big teams in it. Just need to make the best of this, get win 10, recruits don’t care about the details, 10 wins sells and we have the best salesman in the country

Off topic, but when I watch a game or highlights of a game in the carrier some it always looks like it’s an arena field. Like there’s no way the dimensions of that field are 120 X 53 1/3 right?

That's the funny part about their douchebaggery. They are 28-33 in the past five years....and that includes this year's 9-3 team.

From 2005-09, they went 14-45....which is just as Wulffian as our dark ages and then they went 15-33 from 2014 to 2017, which is the same time that WSU was rising up under Leach and we started winning 8+ games per year. Lots of other sh!tty football sprinkled in along the way up to today. They've done precisely jack sh!t in the past 25 years with two good teams and a lot of feces outside of that.

But hey, they didn't suck ass against terrible teams this year so they get to fly their superiority flag for now. It will be hilarious if Mateer stays and their QB sits out and we whip their ass.

Totally agree. I was just going to comment...

Also, we lose to a bad Oregon St. team, and we lose to a pretty decent New Mexico team, but the name looks horrible.

The only way this works for us, is if they're heavily favored, and we actually show up and play defense, and win the game.

But like many, why drop all the money to go, when there's a very good chance we'll lose.

But....how about this? When everyone thinks it's going to be a high scoring game, it isn't.
When everything thinks it's going to be a shoe-in, it's not.

Ya never know.

I can't hate on the portal kids that are jumping for money (real or imagined). Remember that some of these guys are 18 or 19 (Parker). or 20-21. If you were 20 and someone threw $1M at you wouldn't you be tempted?
