Holy shit. Not that I ever thought we would have anything like decent candidates lining up, but that is going to foment some massive inflation in coaching salaries to the extent we didn't already have it. That's even more than the Aggies paid Jimbo a few years ago, and that was a crazy number at the time (believe it was $75m over 10 years with no buyout if he left).
This is just another example of what a dumb shyt Rolovich was. With a quality coaching effort, WSU is an 8-4 team this year. With all these job openings he probably would have been up for a big raise or been able to move up the coaching ladder.
After the Fed gets done printing money, $10Million will buy a few loaves of bread.
Agreed on the stupidity of Rolovich. The number of jobs that pay $3M+ annually are limited.
The job security he had here, with his buy-out etc., was very high. You had the opportunity to advance your career and earnings -- frankly to create wealth for this family - forever - and choose the "pride" road.
Rolo likely thinks he'll get his shot again and he will likely be the last one laughing. Hawaii might give him another shot, but nothing is guaranteed.

Just heard a news report that said one of only the items that has NOT scene massive inflation is alcohol. Surprised the hell out of me. Must be an increase in supply because demand remains strong at my house.
