Acquaah has decided to transfer. It's interesting because he seemed to go through off-season conditioning and it's pretty late. So another opening.

Acquaah has already taken a redshirt year so he will lose a year on the court. I would assume we will be on the hunt for another PG for depth even if we are able to get a Blake Hinson.
Looking on the bright side of things we could now add Blake Hinson and still have room if Franks decided to return. I know reports are Franks is gone no matter what but if he is still in class it's possible however remote.

Milan is a big loss. Funny, but he tweeted to Robinson that he could not wait "to ball " with you . I guess he wanted to be the man? One will need a scorecard to identify the players next year.They need another PG now and very few.if any.seem to be available. This does open up playing time for a player like Cannon.I am not holding my breath on Hinson.The other WSU has signed 8 new players and their roster has been completely changed.

Hmm one wonders if he was encouraged to leave? I wonder if they are bringing in other players for visits.? There are still players like 6'7 Aguir Agua who are not signed.The recruiting is in flux and the seat for EK got a little hotter with the new AD.The staff will have to do a lot of coaching as the number of new players will need to be brought together as a team.
Milan is not a loss - he was a “pop tart” aka the turnover machine. Kid may be a good athlete but not fundamentally sound as he played with head down and would leave his feet with no idea what he was going to do with the ball. He will play well at a rat ball JC next year.
Not fundamentally sound? You sound like that is all his fault? As I recall, Kyle Weaver couldn't guard a chair when he got to WSU. Some guy taught him how to be a lockdown defender. His HC.....
I saw enough late from Acquaah to warrant optimism next season and beyond. He was still prone to bad decisions and turnovers but there was also a lot of improvement over the course of the season. His shooting from the line went from atrocious to good and even very good. He knocked down some shots from 3 and made some pretty impressive passes late in the season plus showing the ability to finish at the rim.
Also made honorable mention on the all-academic team. Someone reminded me he really had not played in 2 years (injured senior year in high school and redshirt year) and now he sits another unless he goes the JUCO route or down a level.
Still surprised by the transfer given the timing and makeover of the roster.
