This is OK I think, Gawdner probably has a better shot at the O'Brien (best QB). Kind of backwards though. Grier's QB stats, while good, trail GM in everything except avg yards per completion. So what.
But, Grier has also been sacked 21 times (GM 9), and has ruched for -68 yards. So how is he a better "player" than GM. But no matter.

I was thinking along similar lines. All I can think is that Grier started the season on the Maxwell watch list, and Gardner was nowhere to be found. So Grier already had an edge.
Good Luck to The Cougars, We played against Murry and shut him down, he been picking up points play crap teams like Kansas, Grier well, he was lucky to get outa Austin in the last quarter, and then he got his butt handed to him in Stillwater, I really think Gardner is the better of the 2 Qbs, we have a QB sorta like Gardner and Sams gonna be there one day, got hurt last game, if all goes right we will meet OU again cause WV can't beat OU, either way we get a second shot at them...Gardner the best Hands down!
