Missiles into Russia

lol. The investigation got how many people busted and convicted? But yeah Trump is squeaky clean! 😂

You are not a serious person.
So tell me, Mr Serious Person, how would YOU react to a person, or organization that had actively worked to **** you over? Would YOU ever fully trust them again? What if your wife was discovered banging your "best" friend, would you ever trust them again? Try to put your TDS aside for a moment and answer truthfully.

It seems to me that Trump had plenty of reasons to not just blindly accept what the US Intel Community told him. And keep in mind that what he might say about a foreign leader for public consumption may not be exactly what he privately feels. Rather like how Biden and Harris say that each other are really great people and there is no friction between them. We all know that is a lie.

Your first problem is thinking Trump is a victim. He’s not. There’s multiple reasons he was being investigated. The mob boss is always the last to go down for a reason.

Stormy, EJ Carroll, NY State, on and on. He’s not a victim, he’s a criming douchebag. And if you think he’s a victim and EVERYONE ELSE is out to get him…yeah, you aren’t a serious person.

FWIW, even though I think that Trump is a shit stain on our democracy, he is also just crazy enough and radical enough to have very good ideas on some topics. He was absolutely right to put NATO on notice that they have a responsibility to hold up their end of the bargain. His problem is that because he does have a weird thing for Putin, he weakens the alliance with his rhetoric rather than strengthening it.

NATO should be putting more money in (and they have been getting better) and its not our job to save everyone. That said, we spend over $800 billion on defense each year. We have spent roughly $60 billion this year in aid to Ukraine. It's important to note that a large portion of that aid is in used equipment that we were no longer going to be using anyway. In my world view, spending 5-10% of our annual budget weakening an adversary is some of the best money we can spend. My only critique of Biden is that we should give Ukraine the weapons and aid and tell them to make the best use of it, not put artificial restraints on the aid that limit their effectiveness. Half-assing your way through a war is the best way to replicate a Vietnam or Afghanistan. The reason that Israel is so effective is that they fight to win....not to participate.

History is going to look back at the GOP and the MAGA movement and not judge it kindly. I'm no Biden or Kamala fan, but I'd also rather be on the right side of history.
I don't think bleeding Ukraine white, hoping Vlad doesn't hit the launch button, and hoping Putin either croaks or gets ousted and someone friendlier takes over is a great solution. $60 billion would fund 30 flight III Arleigh Burke class destroyers that would be very helpful in the Indo-Pacific. I would have said 50 Constellation class frigates but the Navy is in the middle of ****ing up that program, but I digress.

And you seem to be contradicting yourself in the bold. Getting some of the NATO countries off their butts is not weakening the alliance. Weakening the alliance happens when members pledge to spend 2 percent of GDP on defense, then don't do it while hooking themselves up to Russian gas. Makes Russia stronger too. The Europeans have every incentive to whine about Orange Man Bad and have found plenty of support in the Democratic Party and the US media for their whining. Why spend on defense when you can offer universal healthcare, 4 weeks of paid annual leave plus holidays, and a state pension?

Just because he said it was a smart move by Putin doesn't mean that he approves of what he did. Just because Putin is a bad guy does NOT mean he is stupid. But keep on taking Trump statements out of context, it is what you do best.

From WSJ article:
Former President Donald Trump called Russian President Vladimir Putin smart and criticized the U.S. response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
“I mean, he’s taking over a country for $2 worth of asanctions. I’d say that’s pretty smart,” Mr. Trump said during a fundraiser at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida on Wednesday night, according to a recording of the event posted online, contending that Mr. Putin wouldn’t have invaded if he were still president.
In a telephone interview with Fox News late Wednesday night, as Russia launched its invasion, Mr. Trump called the unfolding events a “very sad thing for the world and the country.” He said Mr. Biden hadn't done enough to dissuade Mr. Putin from invading.
“He was going to be satisfied with a piece and now he sees the weakness and the incompetence and the stupidity of this administration,” Mr. Trump said on Fox News on Wednesday night.
It is the second time Mr. Trump called Mr. Putin smart in recent days. He made similar comments during a radio interview earlier this week.

When talking about lack of trust are you speaking of Trump and his affairs he had on all three of his wives?

Is that because Trump is literally Hitler or literally Hoover this week?
Ask JD....you just like that "strong man" and doesn't matter what he does, you are ok with it. People voted, he is the President. At least the vaccines will not match up. Doesn't sound like kids will be mandated to get the Polio or the measles vaccine to attend school and play sports. A policy that would seem to jive with at least 40% of the country.

The problem wasn't getting NATO off their asses. It's his f#cking ridiculous comments about NATO overall including suggesting that we shouldn't be part of NATO. If the cheeto-in-chief would ever figure out when to shut his mouth....he'd be a much better president.

How many wars have broken out in Europe he last 80 years and the years prior to 1950? Have we had a third World War since NATO?

Actually getting a number of NATO countries off the asses was a big problem. Still is for Italy, Spain, Belgium, Portugal and Canada.

As stated, Europeans have every incentive to whine about Orange Man Bad and have found plenty of support in the Democratic Party and the US media for their whining. Why spend on defense when you can offer universal healthcare, 4 weeks of paid annual leave plus holidays, and a state pension?

Why do you think WWIII would be centered around Europe?

There’s no good endgame in Ukraine. Putin isn’t leaving. He’s poured too many resources into it for a decade, he can’t back away with nothing. He also can’t take the rest of Ukraine with us sending weapons, and with the rest of Europe/NATO pacing nervously and sending care packages. Politically, we can’t stop sending stuff without looking like we’re abandoning an ally and making the rest of them nervous….plus that just gives Putin what he wants, and while Trump says nice things about him I don’t think he wants him emboldened either. We can’t give Putin anything without some pretty severe guardrails on further aggression, because if you want your modern Hitler….its Putin.

The only real way out I see is to tell Putin he can keep Crimea, but needs to back out of the rest of Ukraine. Ukraine won’t be invitee to NATO, but if the Russian military steps a foot into Ukraine or flies a drone over the border, Ukraine will automatically be treated as a member. And, Russian emigration to Ukrainian territory is prohibited for 20 years. Zelensky needs to be told that he’s accepting that deal or he’s getting cut off and left on his own.

Then we can turn to Gaza and tell Netanyahu that enough is enough, he’s made his point. If he wants to keep working on eliminating every living Palestinian, he can do it with someone else’s weapons.

For Putin to accept any deal, he's going to want Crimea plus a few of the breakaway areas in eastern Ukraine that were already filled with rebels (Russian operatives) prior to the invasion. Agree with everything else.

Correct. He had Crimea already before the full scale invasion. Anything else will be considered a loss on the world stage and he’s not taking an L. Of course I don’t think he’s going to have much pushback from the U.S. at all in a few months for reasons I already mentioned, so Eastern European countries that are on deck are going to have to hope his intention isn’t further land grab. Good luck w that, it’s well documented Putin’s boner for the Soviet Union and his actions so far confirm.

We'll see how Putin feels when Ukraine starts firing non Nuke missiles into Russia, and around Ukraine, and in Ukraine, and destroys Russia's militiary targets even more, now that Biden, USA say that it's ok for Ukraine to do so now.

It's becoming worse for Russia then Afghanistan or will become worse for Russia then Afghanistan did, and Russia pulled out, lost the war in Afghanistan after 5 to 10 years, in the 80's.

A Chinese vessel captained by a Russian was just intercepted and boarded as they were dragging for communication cables. This is your new WW3. Cyber warfare and biological warfare can cause more widespread damage more quickly than a nuke.

Imagine if the U.S. grids were shut down and the chaos that would ensue. Biggs wouldn’t be able to tell us all how shitty Dickert is and he’d be challenging Putin to an Oklahoma drill.

Putin did nothing during Trumps first term.

He invaded Crimea during Obama. He invaded Ukraine during Biden. He invaded Georgia during Obama

Please to be identifying Putin’s sweeping through Europe during a Trump presidency.
Obama is responsible for Putin taking Crimea? lol. You have been drinking from the same well of stupid as Comrade DGib.

If you don’t think there was a coordinated effort headed by Trump to subvert democracy in the USA by stealing the Presidency in 2020 by any means possible then you are a clueless and unserious hater of the United States of America.

In February and March 2014, Russia invaded the Crimean Peninsula, part of Ukraine, and then annexed it. This took place in the relative power vacuum[34] immediately following the Revolution of Dignity. It marked the beginning of the Russo-Ukrainian War.

Wonder who was President in 2014?
Wonder who was president when the China virus ravaged our country, 1 million plus Americans died. unprecedented fraud allowed resulting in the loss of billions of government covid relief dollars plus massive funding helping to send us down the road to crippling inflation. That guy is responsible for all of it.

Putin won't make a deal at this point. He will wait for US aid to stop. When Agent Orange says he trusts Putin over his own intelligent services....we know who he is loyal to....

Why do you think WWIII would be centered around Europe?
We had two from 1914 to 1945....NATO was formed and seemed to deter nations going at it on that scale.

As to your question, depends where Putin stops and where he is satisfied.

Unhinged.

Have you seen a doctor for that or are you just gonna wing it?

So, it's your warped sense of history. They are called "world wars" because the fighting happened all over the world and involved countries all over the world. The US was brought into World War II because of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, and WWII ended when Japan surrendered. Just to make sure you get it, Japan is on the opposite side of world from Europe.

Europe is the 20th century Ed. We're in the 21st century. TSMC is probably the most valuable thing on the planet, and something China desperately wants. It's located on Taiwan.

Themselves of course.

Well, there are those inconvenient facts that more people died of Covid while Biden was president, and that ARPA was passed during the Biden presidency.

Joe is taking Teddy Roosevelt's place on Mt. Rushmore last I heard.

Well, there's always the other option...arrange for Putin to have an "accident." He's also old enough for a stroke or heart issues to be options. It just has to be completely deniable, or completely pinned on someone else. And...is the next guy better or worse?

And when the intelligence community decides to undermine the President of the United States, who are they loyal to?

Themselves of course.
Oh I thought they were asked if Russia had interfered with the election and they said yes.... how is that not loyal to their country and in their own interests . Interesting take ....

Would it be better if i said wars on the Europe continent that were part of world wars ?

But you are right ... NATO has been a poorly conceived idea

Trump said it will be only two cases. Then on the resurrection we will be all better . That is leadership right there .

If you don't think there was a coordinated effort to take him down simply for political reasons, then you are a clueless, unserious person.

Stretch....the reason that it is so hard to take the MAGA crowd seriously is your complete blindness to the hypocrisy of claiming that Trump is a victim.

MAGA spent most of 2016 yelling, "LOCK HER UP" about Clinton and her fuggin' emails. Trump gets busted accidentally using his phone a couple months into his presidency and you suddenly don't give a sh!t about emails on phones. The timing of the release of information right before the 2016 election was 100% politically motivated. I think Clinton would have been almost as bad of a President as Trump...so I don't care that she lost...but still.

Then, y'all spent years trying to suggest that Joe Biden was compromised and doing illegal things because his son got money from Ukraine and trying to weaponize the DOJ to go after Biden. Trump's kid gets $2 billion from Saudi Arabia and suddenly you don't think it's a big deal for the son of a President to be getting money from a foreign power or their associates.

As soon as Trump is in office, he's going to weaponize the DOJ and you are going to say that it's ok because it was weaponized against him. If you had actual morals and ethics rather than chapped lips from sucking on Trump's cock, you'd say that it was wrong and that no matter what, you don't use government resources to target political opponents for personal gain. However, you won't do that and you'll be all in on weaponizing the DOJ.

So please....take your fake ass outrage and share it with your circle jerk companions that buy into that bullshit.

Is that because Trump is literally Hitler or literally Hoover this week?
You know ..... Hitler never invaded anyone in four years . The oke Trump argument invasions didn't happen under his watch. Putin knows where Trump stands on democracy and defending it ....

Oh I thought they were asked if Russia had interfered with the election and they said yes.... how is that not loyal to their country and in their own interests . Interesting take ....
They also said Hunter's laptop was fake.

Please show me where I said poorly conceived? In 1949 it was a wonderful idea.

The point, if you actually want your brain to function, is and continues to be that NATO and Europe are yesterday's news. The future of the United States is aligned with the Indo-Pacific. But, by all means you and your daughters can join the Ukraine International Legion and go deal with the big baddy Putin.

Is it possible that both Europe and Pacific regions are important? Or just like everything else, are MAGA supporters incapable of processing more than one idea at a time?

Wouldn't need to if we use money instead of bodies. But I get it...let a country we spent billions and many operatives defending against their aggression and nukes and let them have a sovereign territory.
