What does DieHardCougs look like today?
I'm sure the full circus is in town.
By turning point you mean a big slash to the available sports at WSU? And less enrollment, less business for Pullman?Maybe this will be a turning point and many among the 32,000 members will rally to increase their support of WSU athletics through season tickets, NIL, IPF, stadium improvements, etc

I don't care to watch WSU in the MWC, and frankly the likely slightest BXII invite is just prolonging the inevitable.CSB,
Hoping this situation — whatever it ends up being — causes WSU fans from Brand X, Y or Z to rally together and support the program.
No reason WSU football can't remain successful in the Big XII or the MWC (WAC)
I will continue to watch and support WSU. I have very little interest anymore in watching Penn state/Ohio State on a Saturday afternoon in October. I’ll probably watch the playoff if I’m being honest but other than that and WSU, CFB is dead to me. I hope there’s enough other people who feel like me that they’ll need to repair what they’ve broken at some point and we have some semblance of the p12 back again. Nothing is forever, conference alignment will continue to be fluid.I don't care to watch WSU in the MWC, and frankly the likely slightest BXII invite is just prolonging the inevitable.
They can rally all they want, but the music stopped and WSU isn't with a chair, and that isn't changing.

My interest in CFB was already on the ebb. I have no emotional investment in seeing WSU play Kansas, West Virginia, or central florida, or Indiana, northwestern, or Purdue, or Nevada, Utah state, etc. Odds are I’ll watch those from my couch, not in person. I’ll likely send the cash equivalent of my season tickets as a donation, it’s been clear for years that they’d rather have my money than my presence anywayPretty much my sentiments as well.
This feels like a real estate bubble to me...and at some point it is going to burst. I think a lot of people feel the same way so I have to wonder if enough people will tune out to make a difference in the revenue.
Also, I just do't see the Pac 12 schools staying in the Big 10 long term. The athletes are going to hate it, which I suspect will affect recruiting and the results on the field.
I actually think it is pretty impressive WSU has stayed in the Pac this long to be honest.

I’d actually enjoy seeing some campuses and stadiums I’ve never been to, which I’d imagine many in the big 12 have a similar small town charm as Pullman. Friendly fans in the Mt West? You apparently haven’t been to Boise state. Nevada had some real downers too.I’d actually enjoy seeing some campuses and stadiums I’ve never been to, which I’d imagine many in the big 12 have a similar small town charm as Pullman. Always wanted to check out Morgantown.
As for if we end up in the MWC, thinking it will have a bit of the feel of going to a minor league baseball game vs MLB. Cheaper tix and parking, smaller venues where you’ll always have a good seat, friendly fans

I hear Fresno can be less than cordial as well. From a Fresno guy.Friendly fans in the Mt West? You apparently haven’t been to Boise state. Nevada had some real downers too.
