My attempt at having integrity is going well so far

Zero post season NCAA watched so far.

It going to be tough as it goes along because there are some teams I'd love to watch lose.

But in an effort to put my money where my mouth is, I'm not tuning in and supporting the joke of the NCAA.

Anyone else?
I have watched zero NCAA FB games so far...................today. But will check in on the SJSU/USF game tonight.

I watched parts of all the 1st round playoff games, parts of the FCS playoff games, and a chunk of UNLV/Cal and Fresno/NIU. What a choke job by the Fresno kicker. 3 missed FGs, missed the game winner from 35 yards.

I will catch parts of pretty much every other interesting game going forward.

I haven’t watched any playoff games yet but plan to watch BSU if I’m not busy. Makes it easy since I’ve ditched cable.

I did watch some of the second half of the Ohio State beatdown of Tennessee. I tried watching a couple of the other games for a few minutes but just couldn't stand it.

Saw a couple minutes of the SJSU game tonight while I waited for a table at dinner. That’s it - haven’t tuned into a single game.

Honestly haven’t decided if I’ll even watch our game. Basically our JV against their varsity, so it’s a tough hill to climb.

Would be nice to give them a nice big shitburger to eat though.

My enthusiasm for college sports is quickly going away. I have stated when the NIL came out it was going to the death of some colleges teams/coaches. If I could make one change it would be to move the portal date past the Bowl games.

I'm curious of people think that a field of 12 is too many? Obviously, four games is way too small of a sample to draw any conclusions, and I haven't bothered to look up the TV ratings.

A field of 8, with the champs from the power 4, and highest ranked champ of the group of leftovers, plus three at larges seems OK to me. Seven venues needed for the games would be the what we used to call the New Years 6 for the quarters and semis, then the championship game goes to the highest bidder.

As college football has become a farm team vs. moneyball exercise, it is not so much that I've felt a need to boycott games...it is simply that ESPN, Fox and the NCAA have managed to do something I'd never have thought possible. I simply no longer care. It is hard to imagine why ESPN in particular would have wanted to alienate someone from their audience...especially someone who watched rather religiously before they decided to destroy the game.

I watch WSU. I occasionally watch other teams in our league. I watch the FCS playoffs. I do not watch, and have no desire to watch, anyone else. ESPN succeeded in shrinking their audience by one.

The real question is, how many out there are like me and don't want to watch watered down pro teams, masquerading as college teams? Maybe this was all an effort to simply shift a lot of viewers from college to pro? But the flaw there is that I was already watching pro football.

The blunders at ESPN, Fox and the NCAA are hard to understand. I have to assume there are simply no adults in the room, at least no adults that grasp the relationship between cause and effect.

I used to watch wall to wall. As in 6:00 am when Gameday started to whenever I fell asleep watching the 7:30 kickoff. Now, WSU and maybe the game of the week.

Agreed. And magnified by the fact that I don’t watch anyone else, and this season when the Cougs were on a station I didn’t get, I opted for the radio.

Years ago, I chose my Dish network package based on which one had the ESPN channels and the most complete sports package. Now, I only have ESPN because it came with the Disney package for $12/month…and I don’t watch it.

I watched the games for a bit but they were boring AF. I haven’t heard much about ratings of these other bowls but with the playoff my interest went from minimal to zero for any other bowl games. The 12 team playoff is going to kill the rest of the bowl games, they are gonna have to expand sooner rather than later.
