Fwiw, he is better at TE than DE. Like, I could see the TE that he is play 12+ years in the NFL. Easy. The DE, really good player. Not the same impact as a TE.

Cmon Biggs, if hes an nfl pro bowl tight end, why isn't he a 5 star and all the top college teams that utilize a TE like Bama and Ohio State recruiting him as a TE ?
Geez
Yes hes very fast and can run plays down-good motor and athleticThe bodies look a little different but when the ball is snapped I see a lot of Herc.
The first step, the leans, the angles, the leverage, the deeks, the hands, the spring to close
watch the play at 7:10
Great job coaches
Either way, if a kid has NFL potential as a tight end, pretty sure he will be an upgrade on the D-line with this team.Or dont watch the film. Just make emoji posts.

Question is...does he want to be a DE or TE?? Can't force these situations. Where's the heart?Totally agree.

Would be an interesting concept, especially considering Leach has hardly ever utilized a TE. Have some special short yardage/2 point packages, bring him in as an extra blocker knowing a play action can be used and he can catch. I wouldn’t be a huge fan of playing guys both ways, especially DLinemen which might be the most physically demanding position on the field, but if there are only 3-5 times a game their skill set could make a difference during crucial down/distance...why not.Agree. Watching him play though, he is Pete Metzalars. Blocks, catches, prob play special teams. 6’4” 230 turns into 255. Runs well. He has a lot of tools that the NFL loves in TEs.
If it were me, he plays both ways. Why would I not use the talents that he brings? Is my football team so loaded with talent at 1-4 in league play right now that I can leave talent on the sideline???
Call this kid up and tell him you need him to play both ways.
