I posted to this board so long ago I didn't even remember my username and must have had a different email haha. Anyhow, decide to tune into the Suns game against New Zealand once I figured out who they were playing...intrigued by NWZ on the ticker. Heard the name Tom Abercrombie and I thought nah. Looked it up and sure enough it is Thomas. I know he wasn't with us long or a big contributor but it brought me back to a great time in Cougar basketball and prompted me to sign up to CougZone again. I am likely one of the few that still follows the basketball program closely...hell by the end of the season my wife wonders why we put ourselves through the pain. Maybe this will be the year haha.

53 years for me. '66 team with McKean, Wierman, Stioll, Stein, Allen, Ellis, Kloke, Fels et al.

I actually under stated. The 66-67 team was my freshman year. Also trekked over and watched all the freshman games that year with Erickson and Elliott.

I remember watching Don Collins play and I remember Stuart House being on the team but for the life of me I cannot remember him playing. I watched Ehlo and Guy Williams NCAA team and would say I was a fan but I was just as big a fan of Kellerman’s Idaho teams. My obsession with WSU hoops started with Seltzer, Lewis and Derick years and has grown continuously since. ( with a short hiccup during Graham years)

I unfortunately started following the Cougars during the Paul Graham era. Luckily I got to see the Bennett years so I know it is possible to win in Pullman. I also know it isn't a regular occurrence. I just wish they would have elevated an assistant, such as Ben Johnson, to see if they could keep a good thing going. Who knows how much of the staff would have stuck around. Just a fantasy.
