he outplayed Deshaun Watson, former first round pick.
amazing how little respect is given to air raid qbs, pac 12 offensive POY, somebody should have used a 4th round pick on the guy-ridiculous.

What do you think they're paying GM? Never mind. I forgot there's this thing called Google. Sorry BING.
.
"Minshew signed a four-year rookie deal in May worth $2,710,884 guaranteed and includes a $190,884 signing bonus, $190,884 guaranteed and an average annual salary of $677,721 according to Spotrac.com."

Falks O line will get any QB killed. It's not his fault.
Minshew's O-line protection isn't much better. Makes me a bit apprehensive. I am hoping that he can survive until the Jaguars can clean that up. Right now their situation is an injury waiting to happen.

Who knows what the future will bring-
Minshew could end up in the Hall of Fame.
But regardless, based on these two games, he is going to be on an NFL roster somewhere for a long, long time. Having someone come off the bench and played two games without a pick as a rookie is astounding, especially when you are behind and everyone knows it will be a pass. Even if he never starts another game, holding that clipboard is probably the best job in all of sports ;)
