Absolutely do not understand how it can take a team most of a season to figure out they need to contest all shots underneath the basket and to block out to rebound. Did the players just figure this out on their own or has EK actually been preaching this to deaf ears?
22-11 start. The scout hasn't caught up to the energy they are giving on defense. It's only 1.5-ish "games" but they look like a different team.
Some of the rebounding has been about position of course but a lot of boards are just going right back to a UA player. They are obviously a lot bigger than ASU or us for that matter. WSU 7 fouls...UA 1 with 5-ish to go in the half.
Cannon has gone a bit cold from the field but we seem a lot better on the boards and definitely defensively with him in the game.
28-14 even after another crap charge call on us. They just look like a totally different team on defense and even offense.
Big difference between the last 2 games and Oregon is the defensive end. We shot unreal at Oregon but only had a 4 point lead at half because of terrible defense and rebounding. Still could clean some things up but up 12 against UA.

Franks: 20 points on 7-10 shooting (6-8 from 3), 5 boards, 1 assist, 1 steal, no turnovers. Had at least 1 block as well. Great half!

Not really. Arizona has the number one recruiting class in the country. Next season they will have a huge influx of talent.
If and when it happens, then I will agree. So far, after months and months, nothing has happened. I do not believe anything will. After all, Arizona is not a directional school.
The cougs swept ASU and Arizona no one needs to make excuses for the wins. The ones who make excuses like that are posters like Jourdand, Observer, and others . True coug basketball fans enjoy the victories and pack the gym for the mutts
Maybe you should go back and look at some of your inane posts when Bone was coach. If any posts here hurt recruiting efforts (which I doubt) your posts back then would have killed recruiting. You're about as tiresome as a poster can get!
