According to multiple reports circulating and Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, in particular, Oregon sophomore guard Dominic Artis intends to transfer, incoming junior college transfer Brandon Austin is no longer with the program and Damyean Dotson is also no longer with the program.

When it rains, it pours, but former California commit Ahmaad Rorie, who is visiting Washington today, will visit Oregon on Wednesday.

Brandon Austin came from Providence with some off court baggage but he could be a nice risk to take. The other 2 would be nice also but would have to sit, i think Austin would be able to play in December but I might be wrong.

Here's more on Dotson, Artis and Austin from ESPN's Jeff Goodman, who reports that all three have been suspended. Artis, according to the report, intends to transfer but there was no clarification on the status of Austin, who would be eligible in December following his transfer from Providence, and Dotson.

sign talent when you can this year and/or next.

over 2 years, this year and next, Ernie gets to add something like nine guys, right? He's in a good spot right now.

Wow, as good as Altman's Duck teams have been the past couple of years, he's lost a boatload of players during his tenure. The only ones who seem to stick around are the one-year transfers. They have no choice!

Combined with the news of Brobama getting fired at OSU, it's a busy college basketball news day in the State of Oregon.

Glad Cougar

Yup the Oregon team has almost been decimated during the last few months. The OSU program is also having problems. If Kent can recruit a couple of more players,he may be up on both the Oregon and OSU programs.Perhaps he can take 3 out of four against these teams next year.

Story breaking just now that Dotson accused of forcible rape. Austin and Artis named on police report.

Sounds like all three players are named in a forcible rape investigation that centers around guard Damyean Dotson, which has led to their suspensions, according to The Oregonian. Due to lack of evidence, the Lane County District Attorney's office has declined to prosecute the players.

The police report is very, very ugly.

Re: And all three have been booted from Oregon...

Almost as appalling as the act itself, the fact this girl is likely refusing to testify because she doesn't want to ruin their lives. Saying she only wanted them to get a slap on the wrist.

Yeah it seems like a few schools are taking in rogues jsut to win a few games. I trust that Kent is also looking at the character of the young men he is bringing in to play ball. Violating the substance abuse policy is a minor infraction compared to this crime. The young womwan is not doing other women a favor by not wanting to prosecute.

She's refusing to testify because she had consensual sex with one of them the next morning. Shocking story, her friend warned her that all they wanted was sex and attempted to convince her to leave for 20 minutes. This was after the first incident in the bathroom! Clearly the lack of judgement and moral compass of the players is something that warrants swift action by the AD. I also can understand why the District Attorney isn't prosecuting. Unless new info comes out, it's not a winnable case.

Re: And all three have been booted from Oregon...

I can see why Rorie cancelled his UO visit now. Seems like a program that is blowing apart. Altman showing winning at all costs is catching up to him.

Had to go to........

Oregon's Brand X site to get their perspective. Absolutely floored me that numerous posters were defending the players and acting as if this type of behavior was fine because she let it happen. Wow wow and wow.

To be fair, more were condemning than approving, but still.....
