That isn't anti WSU, that is anti noise sticks. If he hated WSU, he easily could have hung 100 points on us in Wulff's first year instead of taking a knee inside the 10 before halftime.

Maybe. If nothing else it will be interesting. I can see Pete stabilizing their franchise a bit until they find the right long term answer, which has to be the thought process. Its certainly not going to be the clown show it’s been.
I love it as a broncos fan and would like to see them being in Russell as a bridge QB too to add some extra sauce back to that rivalry, which used to be one of the best in the NFL.
Quite the group of coaches in the AFC west, all have SB wins and at least 3 are future HOFers, maybe all 4.
I’ve always liked Pete. Definitely the type of coach I’d want to play for and an inspiring dude for living life to the max after 60 and now 70.
Note sure what he’ll do with Gardner but I’ll be hoping a plane for Vegas if Gardner is starting next year.
My guess is that dealing with QB is down the road in his priorities. He’ll emphasize defense first, then start looking for value on the OL. Historically, he hasn’t been a big QB-first guy, he’s often kept the incumbent starter for at least a year when coming to a team (although…he’s never really come into a QB shitshow like the raiders have).
The one thing I’d be just about sure of - the #6 pick is available for trade.
