OT UAB drops football

Cody Clements, a former Coug was their starting QB this year. If he wants to play another season he'll be at his 4th school in 4 years.

I hope they let the kids play in their bowl game. This might be something for BSU/Idaho to be aware of with how their situation is playing out.

I wanted to see Clements after a post on here and found one of their games. It appeared that 1 side of the stadium was empty and they never seemed to show the other side with fans but it sounded like a couple thousand at best. BSU still draws so I wouldn't think there is much concern.

If your roster needs help, this is the first place to look for talent. They've gotta have a few guys that could help out a program.

Absolutely. Pacific was never a powerhouse in modern times, but when they dropped their program, all their kids who wanted to play found a home. Many were 1-AA instead of what we think of today as BCS, but many went to BCS teams. I think I remember more than a half dozen going to PAC teams, including an O lineman that we picked up.

UAB will have some players. They should set up a recruiting fair in the gym.....

Starting with their runningback who gained over 1500 yards as a sophomore. 6-1 225. There's a couple OLM, LB and safeties worth looking at in addition to a defensive lineman and wide receiver.

Yep. You can get a couple guys in to help your team. I'd wager there are already coaches on their campus talking to coaching staff and kids. You know their high school coaches phones are blowing up right now too.
