Some of the items on your sports bucket list?

I’m lacking, Final 4 in Seattle in the 80s is probably my only true bucket list type of sports item so I better get busy:

Olympics
Title Fight in Vegas
Super Bowl
1st game The Sonics play in Seattle when they come back
Big CFB at an SEC venue - preferably LSU.
Game 7 of WS Or NBA finals regardless of the teams or venue.
World Cup Soccer game though I’d take a big European matchup
Wrigley Field (been to Fenway and Yankee Stadium)
......

Mine are:

  • watch a game in every Pac-12 stadium (only been to 5 so far)
  • NBA Finals (I had the chance to watch Game 5 of the Bulls vs. Sonics in 1996 for free but I couldn't afford the airfare to get there)
  • NCAA Final Four (I've gotten lottery tickets twice but the seats were so bad that I sold them)
  • Wrigley Field (we had a trip scheduled this summer before COVID screwed things up)
  • Watch the Steelers play in Heinz Field (I grew up in the 70's......)
  • Go to a NASCAR race
  • College World Series if the Cougs ever make it
  • CFP if the Cougs make it
  • Pac-12 Basketball Tournament in Las Vegas
  • Pac-12 Championship Game if Cougs every qualify

Checked off the list
  • I did get to take my dad to the Rose Bowl in 2002. Terrible game but I had a great time with him.
  • Watched the Seahawks play in the Kingdome
  • Watched the Mariners in the ALDS and ALCS in 2001. (games against the yankees sucked)
  • Watched the Cougs play at Auburn, Notre Dame and Wisconsin. Martin Stadium is great but Auburn was amazing to visit. Camp Randall was a bit of a letdown but I'm still glad we did it. The students were apparently too drunk and out of it for Jump to be as awesome as it's sometimes portrayed. Notre Dame's stadium sucks donkey balls but their campus is by far the best I've ever seen.
  • Went to Yankee Stadium for a game.....underwhelming.
  • Watched Wichita State, KU and K-State play in the NCAA tourney on the same day in St. Louis (learned to really hate Kentucky fans that day)
  • Watched the Golden State Warriors in a playoff game
There are probably more that I'd like to do if I spent more time thinking on it.

Football/pre-game at both Ole' Miss and LSU.

1 because I like to drink
2 because I like corndogs.

World Cup is the only one that comes to mind for me as truly bucket list.

On the field with Cougs at ND. It was a great day and weekend, except for the outcome of the game..... that sucked. ( OT loss) But ND fans were really great! Everywhere we turned.... all we heard was hey, Cougs come and drink our beer and eat our foot.... can we trade you for your Coug gear! Their fans were outstandingly friendly!

Cannibalism at their tailgating parties? Weird.
