The Pac-12 announced the all-conference teams tonight and senior receiver Vince Mayle was the only player named to the first or second team, earning Pac-12 second team honors as a receiver. USC's Nelson Agholor and ASU's Jaelen Strong were named first team receivers.

Washington State had four players named Pac-12 honorable mention: linebacker Jeremiah Allison, cornerback Daquawn Brown, quarterback Connor Halliday and offensive lineman Joe Dahl.

Key drops, down the stretch too, for Mayle. 2nd team is about right I think.

Mayle has a shot at the pros. He is the only one of the seniors on this year's team who has a chance. He may be a late round draftee unless he shows better at the all star game.

Yeah, I agree, that 2nd team is fair. If I were a GM looking for WR's, I'd take a couple other Pac-12 guys first...... But he's still EXCELLENT !!

Mayle is a guy that can help himself a lot at the combine. He's got size. If he can put up the same kind of combine number Bucannon did, he'll be an early round guy. I never would have predicted that Bucannon could run in the 4.4 range.

Mayle has that size speed combo and the fact that he seems to like blocking, I could see him turning into a Julius Thomas, Jimmie graham TE/WR hybrid. Guy could be a real weapon and match up problem in that role.

The Pac-12 only takes 2 WR, which is silly. Given that, this seems about right.
