PAC 12 traditions

Washington beats WSU with Sailgating vs the Gameday Flag tradition.

seriously dude? F the mistake by the lake. Are you even a Coug? I was there that day (Gameday). Will never forget it. F Lake Washington. CDA, Dworschak, Payette, Pend Orielle, Preist, Rosevelt, Cascade, even the smelly old Snake. Good times at the Dunes.

Pretty lazy writing by USA Today. Utah has the "3rd down jump in the MUSS" which is pretty decent to see in person. That's way more meaningful than turning the lights on for the "U" after wins.

I would argue that "Back Home" is a more meaningful gameday tradition than the Gameday flag for WSU. As an alum who makes it "back home" once a year or so, that song hits hard when it plays between the 3rd and 4th quarter. It's relatively new and only time will tell if it's a fad or not.

The thing about the lake is that only a handful of fans can “participate” in that tradition. Leave it to UW to have their biggest tradition be an elitist club.
This, +100. Better yet, the "elite" are now (unlike 40 years ago) solely the folks who write big checks...actual alums, or not. Supply and demand for the limited seats mean newer and bigger checks, or you lose your seats. At least in the pro's you buy a seat license.
