Whoever the F they are. Link below cuts off to the paywall but you can read a bit of it. So hapless Teresa, with her vast experience, has to pay someone else to think for her. Great. And what about member #8? Gonna continue to sit on our ass until our only option is Texas State? I keep harping - bring in Sac St. and their #20 market NOW, so they can move ahead with their new stadium and start recruiting to an FBS level with their big pot of NIL money. The portal is now open BTW.

How many times are you going to post the same thing over and over again? There is no way we're going to add an FCS program that doesn't have a stadium. That makes zero sense, and I think you know that.

As for Octagon, they're one of the biggest media rights consulting firms in the world. Search up the brands and talent that they represent. Not that it'll matter to you.

Octagon

The previous commissioners hired consultants too.

It would be irresponsible NOT to hire a consultant for this purpose. And then LISTEN to the consultant, unlike Kliavkoff.

As for Octagon, they appear to be one of the top 3 in that line of work. Those guys almost always get you a better deal than you expected...it is their reference for getting the next job.

Hiring a consultant is better than relying on a commissioner who doesn't know what they're doing...as we proved a year ago.

Octagon knows what they're doing, and again, probably the most expensive for their service. We want Octagon, plus they're not working out of their garage.

It sounds like the PAC12 has made a great decision in hiring a high powered group of consultants and lawyers who can help them work through all the legal ease and pitfalls of negotiating the best media deal possible for the PAC12. I Think the PAC12 hit a home run with this group.

Better than not doing so.

Gibby - better than not doing so? How could the last couple of years have been any worse than what the Pac-2 has experienced? what are you talking about?

Moxee - suffice it to say, I disagree with your perspective. WTF are we paying Teresa for anyway? I don't disagree that this firm looks pretty awesome. But throwing away what will likely be a shit ton of money for what?

A good reason to hire a consultant is for a job you do once a decade or so.
