Gonna be another good season on The Palouse that ends, yet again, with an upper-tier finish in the Pac-12 and an invite to a Traditional bowl game.

(And, if you insist WSU will go 7-5 or worse this season, then by all means go ahead and bet against the Cougs ).

All kidding aside, it seems more and more folks who follow CFB around the country are believing in what CML is building in Pullman, Wash.

It's great to see them projecting us at 7.5. That sounds about right to me. I'm personally predicting 7-5 for the regular season with a possible trip to Vegas. It's important to remember that our history overall suggests that we are due for a losing season and that we aren't predicted to suffer that fate is a testament to the work that Leach has done at WSU. I see our floor at 4-8 but with very little chance at that happening. My seat of the pants feel for our fate this year:

4-8: 5%
5-7: 20%
6-6: 25%
7-5: 35%
8-4: 10%
9-3: 5%

But that's just one guy's opinion.

Leach has a way of unexpectedly pulling rabbits out of his hat in transition years. I remember at Texas Tech that he would lose one record breaking quarterback and would replace him with an inexperienced QB who broke even more records and kept TT playing at a high level. I don’t if that will happen this year but past history says it can happen. 5 to 7 wins sounds about right for this years squad.
