Last week Wilner set the doomsday clock for the ACC and realignment for the 2030 season.

Pac-12 is lining up our contracts to end in a similar timeframe. If we are smart - and I am not sure we are - we'd be working with Oregon State to build out the ACC West. Pull back Utah, Arizona and ASU, put WSU and OSU with Stanford and Cal and add SDSU, or the pacific division. That puts 7 division games, have a few cross over games with the eastern division and call it good.

Feels like the new look Pac-12 isn't going get the value we deserve, time to start plotting our next move.

So we need to start plotting for 2030? How about we plot for 2026 first? Just sayin'.........

I think we should optimizing the next 4 to 5 years, with an eye on returning to the P4 level personally. We can't publicly state that, but that is where I would be focusing.

The only way WSU, Ore St, BSU, SDSU, Memphis, Tulane, USF, get a invite from either ACC or Big 12, is the following has to happen.

1. The Big 10, SEC have to raid either ACC or Big 12, or both ACC, Big 12.

2. The PAC 12 has to do well in 2026, 2027, 2028

3. WSU, Ore St, BSU, SDSU have to do well as far as football success, going 11-1, going to CFP, having good viewership numbers, etc.

4. PAC 12 has to send a team to CFP, have good viewership numbers.

Since WSU is not likely to go 11-1, goto CFP, and have good TV viewership numbers, all combined together between 2025 to 2028, then the ACC, Big 12, even if they get raided by Big 10, SEC, will probably not extend, offer a invite to WSU, Ore St, etc between 2025 to 2032

So because of that, WSU probably won't optimize over the next 4, 5 years, with a focus on trying to get a invite from ACC, Big 12.

If WSU does goto CFP, go 11-1, get awesome TV viewership number, gets a invite from ACC, Big 12, it will be a miracle, be by complete accident, random chance, etc.

In other words, it's probably not going to happen.
