Political griping thread

You really should use Duck Duck Go if you want all the information.
Why? You made a comment he loathed America. Why do I need to go to duck Duck Go to try and figure out how you could make that comment.

In other words, as the person making the claim, you are unable to provide any support to back it up or to cite any actual support to prove your claim.
People can exercise their own critical thinking skills and arrive at their own conclusion - assuming they actually possess critical thinking skills but you know what happens when one assumes. If you're too lazy or arrogant to take advantage of the largest source of information the world has ever known, that's on you not me.

I'm satisfied with my statement and can respect those who may hold a different opinion - again assuming they actually do some legwork to understand why I believe the way I do.

But odds are they won't.

Much like Observer11, I take the view that everyone who continues to support Donald Trump is un-American, hates America and the Constitution. Why? I exercise my own critical thinking skills and sources on the internet. Observer11 and I don't need to explain more and expose our thought process to scrutiny. So now that is settled, so who hates America more Kerr or Observer11?

That's very Ed-like to say something I didn't say. You can believe what you'd like. I'll believe what I like.

THAT, my friend, is as American as it gets.

Such a logical and profound use of your personal critical thinking ability. You must hold a PhD? Man, I sure hope to attend a lecture of yours in the future. I am most certain it will have a life changing impact.

Ah yes, the false promise of the internet circa the 90s brought to you by observer11 while chillin’ in his acid wash jeans and members only jacket.
For what it’s worth one of my underlings, the one who dropped out of community college after 2 quarters and also adheres to the “do your own research” mantra, agrees with you 100%. She’s an expert in healthcare with a degree from DuckDuckGo university. She’s hella smart and has mad critical thinking skillz - just ask her.

Such an amazing display of critical thinking to make a claim, offer no support for such claim, nor otherwise subject the basis of your claim to any scrutiny, and only point to a search engine where others can make a search to guess the basis of your claim.

But sure, I believe you are one to think critically or challenge your own initial views.

Why does it bother you so much that you're free to have your own opinion?

Or does it bother you more that I have mine?

It could be actually both if one were inclined to map out scenarios.

It doesn’t bother me that we are free to have our own opinions. Hard to logically take away that conclusion from what I said.

I am merely pointing out that you provided nothing to support your likely erroneous “opinion” (whether Steve Kerr hates America seems more a question of fact than opinion, though I acknowledge some people equate criticism of America with hate, so there may be some opinion tied into that).

And your lack of interest in providing any such support rather than directing others to do their “research” does not inspire confidence in how much you actually think critically about your own opinions.

Well 11...not sure that is CougEd at all. I will be as diplomatic as possible. Making someone go to a web browser to try and understand your comment is weak. You are asking me and others to try and stitch together why you believe someone in their heart loathes (hates...dislikes) the USA (maybe because his dad was raised in beirut?) . The last time I saw this maneuvering is when Otter in Animal House was walking down the stairs to the ethics meeting and switched his major from Pre Med to Pre Law-preempted parliamentary procedure and took on the ethics board and that pussy Greg Marmilard. "Isnt this an indictment of our entire American society as a whole, well you can do with us what you want, but we are not going to stand here and allow you to let you bad mouth the United States of America...gentleman."

That is what you are asking me to do in stitching together why you believe he loathes the USA.

But I did take your suggestion and went to duckduckgo. Unfortunately they took me to a fluff piece. A 26 minute interview. Can you believe this fake news, they even had him dress in a tee shirt that said USA on the front. Probably on the back said "I loathe" Gawd the irony. As creative as I am, I can't even make this stuff up.

The guy did speak to what shaped him. IE, having his dad die of gun violence, and the season in which he three times they would bow their head in silence after a major school shooting. He took a position regarding guns and gun violence. Personally, I don't have the skill to stitch together a guy who is the coach of team I Loathe USA, and that is the reason I looked to the person who asserted he disliked the USA.

That would be like me trying to thread the needle of the information that came out this week that Joe Rogan loathes black people due to what he has said in his career, and thus those who listen to him loathe black people. Seems to me to be a stretch.

Democrats like to sniff kids and believe the mumbling moron that gives out 30 million in crack pipes is the most popular president ever.

That's all.

You are trying to reason with a dude who gets his jollies from thread-jacking. What is the point?

Says the guy who consistently jacks threads with content that has been consistently wrong. Some expert you are... Do you and your elitists band of sycophants ie Oscar, Krusty, 96 etc get tired of being wrong?

Just for the good of the order, I received my government provided test kits over the weekend. One was damaged in shipping. And they arrived just in time for the pandemic to be declared over with.

Again - show me where I’ve been wrong. And provide valid evidence to support your assertions. Good luck.
