Roberta Flack has passed away, likely from ALS. If you want to listen to one of the most beautiful songs ever, follow the link and listen to "The First Time Ever I saw Your Face". Truly amazing song. Clint Eastwood was brilliant for including it in "Play Misty for Me", a great scene in a great movie!

I just thought that the "Play Misty for me" lady in the movie didn't go out so softly. I did know Roberta's song.

Scary movie, good role for Clint!
The one and only time I saw that movie was May 18, 1980. The ash had me scared to go outside, the movie had me scared to stay inside. Never had any interest in seeing it again.

Now that's just funny stuff right there, I don't care who ya are! (LTCG)

Okay, we'll give you a pass due to being a young pup. Heck, I recall as a kid being scared in the local theater by the movie Journey to the Center of the Earth. LOL
Poltergeist.

My parents wouldn't let me see it when it came out. So of course I watched it at a friend's house during a sleepover. We watched it in their living room, and as soon as it was over his parents turned off the lights and expected us to go to sleep. Problem was that with the lights out, the TV still had a dim glow for a while. None of us slept a wink until that stopped.

After that, I think the next movie that really scared the hell out of me was Fatal Attraction.
