Recruiting emphasis?

So my initial thought was, "Wow, have we recruited with emphasis on the D side." Then I started looking at the numbers.

11 recruits so far are on the Dark Side.

8 (including the Kicker) are on O.

From the numbers I've looked at, we have 4 more schollies to give out. So we could easily pick up a couple more WR's or OL… Don't know if we will, whom the higher "targets" are but just saying perspective is everything.

We are in DIRE need of an improved D and they've recruited to such… but not so much as to ignore the O. When looking back, it isn't like we were ignoring the D side, either… Just seems perspective.

So nothing REALLY to say, just what I've notices...

OL and DL. If we can get a couple JC guys in the secondary to give us some depth and competition right now, I think that's the way to go.

There was another post that said we could have 20 scholarship OL in 2014. If that's not emphasizing commitment to building the position, I don't know what is.

The last 3 seasons I think have opened the eyes of many fans as to why WSU has to put money into the OL. No blocking, no throwing and no running. I've seen enough QB's go down with injuries at WSU. Cut the tight ends and backs, bring in more OL.

There is a world of guys in the 5'8-5'10, 180-200lb range who get glossed over by programs who are looking for bigger/stronger every down RB's, but are the type of guys who fit into our offense. We want guys who can:

1. Catch the ball
2. Make good cuts in open space
3. Disrupt a pass rush, recognize the blitz and be able to pick up the right guy
4. Make good reads on draw plays
