im assuming the active roster players showed better in practice than the red shirts. That doesn't bode well for next year. It is early in the year but I would have to think coach might need to rethink some of the red shirts. We are not getting much from Franks or Langston or for that matter Daniels.

The redshirts appear to be our freshmen class for next year. When you don't sign a high school player in the early signing period that's not a good sign either. Spring usually brings more projects.

EK recruits HS kids? I thought it was just JC leftovers or transfers that didn't figure in other programs.

Flynn shows some promise, but I'm hard pressed to find another EK recruit that show much at all since he's been here. Next year looks slim too. How many rollover contract years will Moos give this guy?

Acquaah was better than Flynn on paper but next year looks pretty dismal. Have to hope Ergas can add the skill to his athleticism quickly.

Chidum looks pretty athletic and skilled but needs to get stronger. I expected him to redshirt. I am much more skeptical when we redshirt guards like Ergas. Biggest killer is totally striking out on the first class. If we had gotten a couple of kids with upside we would be getting some upper class contribution by now and been less dependent on jc players.

I agree. I am hoping that EK can bring in a couple of HS players during the next recruiting period. There are,at.least. a couple of quality players being recruited whom ,i hope commit to the Cougs. Chidum is a skilled player but needs to add a few pounds and get stronger.
