Regarding Ernie vs Graham

I really wonder if Ernie watches film. Maybe someone can recall him mentioning that, but I don't. We won't beat many teams on talent, but we can beat teams if we are smarter than them.

I recall when Dick Bennett arrived at WSU and he was astonished to find out that we had no equipment for watching film. Graham and his staff didn't watch game film. It was amazing.

I don't see any evidence that this staff studies and learns from their losses. Maybe they do, but I'm not seeing it. You have to study your opponent intensely if you want to win...especially when you are trying to overcome a big talent deficit.

There is not as big a talent deficit as you imagine. The problem has been of playing together,realizing their roles and better motivation from the players and coaching staff. It falls up the staff to fill a couple of holes . i imagine that there will a couple of players and coaches let go sooner than later

Still the question of whether this staff studies game film.

Agree with ELC again. Last years group of 4 was a disaster, but individually the new kids this season are more talented than our record reflects. Problem has been assimilating so many new JC kids. I think not having a real vocal floor leader returning has magnified the problem.
