At this point Haden wants to make a choice that will come with some asbestos underwear. I don't see that choice at this time. You can be sure that he has several hooks in the water. The fat lady hasn't even started to warm up her voice…she certainly is nowhere near singing.

I am not entirely sure that Haden will be the one making the choice. After his last two selections it would not surprise me if Haden was replaced too. If he remains AD I don't think it is inconceivable that the school suggests/insists that outside consultation be utilized. Surely his previous choices must give the upper echelon of USC and the alumni some degree of anxiety concerning the upcoming HC hire.

2 schools looking for new coaches on the same day in October, both with the initials USC, can be confusing.
