Must not have likely something he heard from the new staff...but I still question why you'd enter when everyone else has already had a month. Gotta believe that most schools jumped on the higher rated recruits early.

If you don’t want to be here as a player, you should leave.
Perhaps he got homesick? Lost a GF? Wants to be in Hawaii or Utah for religious reasons?
Maybe he was promised NIL and Actual didn’t match the insinuation?
Since we’ve learned from some experts in this forum none of the coaches on this new staff know anything about the game of football, perhaps he discovered he just knows more about development and NFL prep than this coaching staff?
Who knows? But, more importantly, who cares? Let the kid live his life.
This wasn't from Brand X or Brand Y or Jim Moore, but there was an article on the "Athletic.com" a few weeks ago that said it's common knowledge that schools will use third parties to approach promising players on teams who've just undergone coaching changes.
Said some of the offending schools were pretty brazen about it, too

You guys slay me. Gushiken and now Tialavea, both Poly starters that stayed through the Bowl game, bolt and you all are happy about it? To be replaced by a bunch of Jackrabbits, none of whom had any FBS offers, ever? We'll see where Tialavea lands.
Both & many others that have left will transfer to be simply depth & practice players at bigger programs. Avg players on ok/not good WSU units (DBs & O-Line) have started & played their last meaningful downs in college. At this point, moving on is best for all parties.

C. Better things to think and care about.
D. Other feelings besides happy.

Who is happy. I am happy with the ones who want to be here and have been given enough money to stay. Where do you think he will wind up? Is there a place other than Wake ?
