Stud. I love this kid. He is an interior DT. He plays well in traffic. He gets off blocks. He hits. He extends his arms. He sees the ball.

A lot of times kids have film of just running thru and hitting kids. I wanna see how kids deliver initial contact, get off the block, see the ball/read the play and then tackle. This kid does a great job. He is a must have kid for JD’s defense.

He has a bro. Twins. Brother Landon is 6-5 300 and currently committed to Tulsa.

He can play. Runs well between the tackles. Very crucial for a pass game. He hits, he gets tough yards.

If he doesnt win a starting job…. move him to linebacker and turn him loose.
could you imagine biggs reaction if anyone else suggested a 5'11" 220lb backer?

I remember talking to a really good CC Head Coach and asked him why his 5-10 linebacker wasn't being recruited heavily because he had an enormous amount of tackles per game and was jacking people up. He said that "if they recruit the 5-10 guy and he doesn't work out, they might lose their job." "If they recruit the 6-3 linebacker and he doesn't work out.... they get to keep their job."

Yep. Try and tell me JC Sherritt wouldn’t have had 400 tackles for WSU from 07-11

'If" you always spot the exception and not the rule. They come along every so often and coaches do lose their jobs when they take too many chances.

Look like we lost the one DT tackle on the verbal list to AZ. I hope they surprises us with a few more LOI's today, they only have 10 or 11 right now. so good lake pickups, but losing a QB and DL is a bit of a bummer.

He wasn't a DT, he was an edge rusher. Logo was his recruiter. Not surprised that we lost him and we are pretty good at edge rushers. Lara wasn't recruited by Morris so that's not surprising either. Good to hang onto Taariq with SC trying to flip at the end. The next few months should be interesting with Portal options and other recruits out there.

Lateef (hasn't signed) and Uiagalalei flipping is a bummer but it's not the end of the world. Taariq staying true is a big deal as he has the chance to play next year.

I watched the JUCO national championship game last Friday. Anthony Grant is a beast. Ran for 198 yds. Announcer said he doesn't have any P5 offers but Nebraska is starting to express interest. Dude is the real deal.

I wonder where he got that info from regarding Nebraska. Wouldn't you hate to see him land up in the corn fields waiting for the return of Tom Osborne? Don't do it son!! Oh, Head Coach Kurt Taufa'asau is a 2012' Wyoming grad.

Anthony's teammate who hasn't signed, but gave verbal to Marshall. Logan Compton- 6-5 246 , 4.6 40, aggressive blocker

If you were a team that had no TEs and brought in a new OC that wanted to use TE/H back… this is your guy. He can split wide, line up next to the tackle, line up as an H and line up as a back. He can run the ball and catch it. I dont think he is gonna break away and score from 50 yards out but he can certainly post up, run the zipper or make a play in the flat. He does well what is one of the hardest things to do and coach… open field block.

This kid has a lot of tools.

He looks like the typical H-back who's large enough to help out a tackle block their best edge rusher, take a linebacker or pancake a pretty large safety. He could line up in his h-back formation and then shift over into a fullback and block or take the snap. There's you H-back until your HS recruit gets up to 245. He'd be a fun player to watch. What's he gonna do next??

Jayden Oliver 6-3 or 6-4 cornerback teammate of the best RB and TE from the JC ranks. 3.3 student with 3 int's and 6 breakups (they didn't throw his way often). Another aggressive tackler. 8-10 offers with Incarnate Word being one:)

No. I dont think he can play P12 ball. He isnt physical at all. His backpeddle sucks. He makes routine plays. Where is the flare? Where is the “oh shit look at that!”

He has great length. Tough to find DBs at 6’3”-6’4”. His ability doesn’t match his DNA.

Is there more or better film????

Pretty short film. What do they call the back peddle alternative these days? Benching 275 with a 6'-10" wing span ain't bad though. His best offers are Eastern Kentucky, Southern Illinois and South Florida, so- there has to be more and better film. This film looks thrown together.

There is no backpeddle alternative for corners. It is a must have. No backpeddle, you’re a safety.

He should take one of those offers.
