Matice is another 70 230 juco Canadian from Ga who was offered by the cougs.His stats and videos are not impressive and he never played HS basketball.His recruitment is a head scratcher and he appears to be the least talented of the 5 juco big men offered by the cougs in the last 2-3 weeks.The cougs need a big man for next year but at least two of the players offered do not appear to be top D 1 material.The need for a quality PG is still there.

Smells of desperation. Let's face it, any player that has high D1 options likely isnt taking a chance on Kent and the Cougs. He is on the way out and most folks dont like the unknown.
Low tier D1 talent and taking flyers on players is where we are at. Not enough time for Kent to develop HS talent so Juco transfers will likely be what we see from here on out.

My guess is they are looking to replace Cooper! We will be lost without him.
We've hit Paul Graham territory. Recruiting random JC 7 footers puts us here.
Of those players i think that David Applegren has the most potential. He has 3 years to play and was on the Swedish National Team.Appelgren is second in the juco ranks with 82 blocks. He is 7'1 227 with good length and timing. Of course they have to recruit him.
