Slowly starting to come out. UC SB is on it. Nice start as a near top 50 (52) Ken Pom ranked Big West team is nice. May be a little lower next year as some projections have 'em at 110

Nice to see more information is being released. I looked for any non-con info, but didnt find any. Where did you find this?

I like getting UCSB. I don't know if they are going to be as good as they were last year but a quality opponent. Boise State also announced for December in Spokane.

Yeah like Boise State as well in Spokane Dec 22nd. At least UCSB has some decent bigs to give our guys some great experience.

Good to see two quality weat coast teams on our non-con. Hopefully we here about a MTE soon.

Boise State should be interesting. They have a ton of seniors on their squad.

Truth in advertising for a change in that tweet:

Spokane game announced as a neutral site game (not home) and game time undetermined (which means it will be 11AM so Bobby Brett can book another event in the evening)

I get it's near Christmas so it makes sense, but we couldn't schedule an actual home game with BSU?

Wouldn't make sense at that time of year without the students. Would have been nice to see it in Pullman earlier in the month. I also wonder if Rice preferred neutral?

Remember when Baylor played in Pullman? They weren't the Baylor of last year but they were good. Beat us with Rochestie and Baynes and Thompson.

I agree with the timing, but WSU needs to start putting games in Pullman...none of this Spokane arena stuff. This reeks of a GU 2-for-1 in Spokane vibe to me.

Two BSU kids with Spokane roots - Max Rice and Naje Smith. Pretty normal for teams to schedule against squads near their players' hometown. Duke used to do it all the time. And Leon won't play Gonzaga under any conditions so WSU is a natural fit for them.

It will draw the same as WSU games in Spokane always do. Wednesday night of Christmas week. Predicted attendance 3,500.

Which is 3000 more than a game would draw in Pullman on the same day. Neutral sites are a great deal for both teams. Split the gate seems fine to me.

promoting the heck out of this game at Hoopfest in September would be a solid move.

I’ll take the over on 3500.

Always a popular time to do a little xmas shopping in downtown Spokane as well.

So now South Dakota State also announced in Spokane in December playing WSU in the Veterans Arena. They are ranked top 125 by some projections and in the Summit league.

Maybe not an ESPN game of the week but another solid opponent to get ready for conference.

I assume it will be over Christmas break as well. Just as well, there will be no one in Pullman at the time
