Hyunjung Lee is from South Korea and is a 6-7 player that fits perfecly in the mold of what Coach Smith wants to see. This player has been playing in the NBA global academy and will visit WSU.

I like Lee from what I saw on his video. Long range shooter that wants to be like Klay Thompson. He’s slight similar to Kunc and looks to have good upside.

Davidson is the other scheduled visit. Like Pullman it is a small college town but with an outstanding academic reputation They annually enroll less than 2000 students and are highly selective in their admissions policy. They have 23 Rhodes Scholars and have a 93% graduation rate. Unlike WSU they have a great basketball program and a highly successful coach. Davidson made the 2018 Big Dance bowing out by 4-5 points against a very good Kentucky team. This year they lost in the first round of the NIT. I would not hold my breath on this one.

Please do hold your breath, for the next 30 minutes or so.

Again please do not shoot the messenger.
Agreed don’t shoot the messenger ... just the commentator :)

It would be like Paul Revere’s midnight ride... “the British are coming, the British are coming and you all are doomed .

Elc just having some fun, you can message anyway you want. It really is up to me how I filter it.... and others .

I actually enjoy your posts. They are reminders that you choose to be bitter and negative and that I choose to be hopeful and excited about Cougar basketball for the first time in several years. If Smith doesn't work out, then he'll eventually exit just like Ernie. But I'm willing to wait and see his first game (and many more) before I condemn him and the team the way you do already without giving him a chance.

Glad Cougar

The fact that Davidson has a better basketball program than WSU is on Ernie Kent. Now you finally realize why he had to be fired.

I’ve been to the Davidson campus. If a college experience with a smaller student body than a large high school is your thing, have a party.
Beyond the actual sport itself, I suspect WSU athletes enjoy the true college experience WSU and Pullman provide.
Not knocking Davidson’s B’ball or academics, but it certainly is not what I would have wanted for 4 years.

Why would he go away. He sure seems like he likes cougar athletics.

Hoping for injuries to our qb’s and telling athletes not to come to WSU for basketball doesn’t scream to me he likes WSU athletics but each their own.

Well it has been said he always likes the back up better. Not sure that standing on its own is all that far fetched .

Back in the day Steeler fans hated Bradshaw . Nolls staff rotated Terry Hanratty in the mix plus Jefferson street Joe Gilliam . They always wanted the back up .

A little bit like a Beau Archibald although maybe that's just his slight frame. There is a 12 minutes of game highlights for the game following this video and Lee does a bit of everything. Brings the ball up, multiple assists, rebounds a bit, and the shooting. Says he needs to improve his defense.
