Anyone have any additional insight on our 10 new signees? I've looked at highlight film of a couple of them, and feel like we've got some projects ahead.
- Schlenbaker, the RB, runs pretty upright and I don't see him delivering hits. He reaches top gear fairly quickly, but I'm not sure top gear is that fast. Looks like he sees the hole pretty well and picks his spot quickly...but his junior highlights didn't show much change of direction
- Robinson, the CB, finds the ball well but looks undersized. Decent speed, he stays with receivers well in his highlights. Doesn't consistently get position though, especially against bigger receivers. Not very effective with his jam at the line. Decent tackler, but the biggest concern I saw is a tendency to go to his knees before contact.
- Dollar, TE. Decent hands, he goes and gets the ball pretty well. His best plays (for us) were when he lined up as an H-back. I wouldn't call him an overpowering blocker, but he finds someone to hit and stays with them. Hopefully he adds some pounds and learns more about leverage.
That's about as far as I've gotten, I've seen more conversation about most of the others previously.
