So Utah goes down...

QB looks like he is out for a while if not the season, backup had issues

Well prior to this game, many were saying that Utah was playing the best ball in the conference.

Arizona is the team that I have been worried about for the past few weeks.

Utah was losing this game with or without their starting QB. That highly touted defense for the Utes was flat-footed all day.

Arizona is the team that I have been worried about for the past few weeks.

Counting yesterday, Arizona has a two game winning streak. Before winning the last two games, they had lost the previous two to Utah and a bad UCLA team. They appear to be a much better team at home than they are on the road, as their road record is 1-3 and being blown out at Houston and at Utah.

Of course any team in conference is good enough to win on the road. We will know more about our Cougars after tonight's game.

Regarding Utah, yes many in the media still are not sold on the Cougars. People like Jon Wilner and Joel Klatt are not sold. In the interviews I have heard from them each week, for every thing nice they say about the Cougars, they will say two negative things.

For weeks, it has been Washington and Utah. Then, Oregon and Utah. Then, Washington and Utah again. Never WSU. Now, I wonder what they will think?

What a bummer for Hundley and Utah. Kid just can’t stay healthy. Hope he gets back. They’re the best team in the South with him.

Actually it's the way Arizona matches up to our defense is what I have been mainly worried about, not so much their overall record. The are still extremely fast and athletic on offense like last year, and they ran all over us last year.

I'm optimistic, but still a bit worried about this match-up.

We shall see what happens. But, I think Coach Claeys is better at game planning and making in game adjustments than Coach Grinch was.
