I mean, most of the West team is from Louisiana, the QB for the East team is from CA... do they just pick teams, like in the schoolyard?

Also, some of these kids exceed reasonable hat wearing standards- maybe a jersey or backpack ceremony?

Interesting question.

Since the population center of gravity is in Missouri, you could argue that many parts of Louisiana belong on the west team.

Not sure why the QB is from CA though.
