Ohio St rolling was bad for us.

PSU & Fla winning big was bad too.

At least LSU lost, but I wouldn't put it past the committee to keep them ahead of us. I mean, they took a pretty good team to 7 OTs on the road, whereas we lost rather comfortably to probably a slightly better team at home.

Kentucky and Texas winning could be a problem.

SC losing was bad. Can't even say we lost to a bowl team now.

Utah winning was good. At least we have a ranked win.

Oregon winning could be good. Could they get ranked at 8-4?

Wyoming won its 4th in a row to become bowl eligible. And finished 3rd in its division.

3 of Wyoming's 6 losses were to ranked teams.

The rankings Tuesday will show us a lot.

But we still have one more week. Texas probably loses. We’ll see what happens.

This is a good point. And Eastern win it's division, right?

Still don't think we get a lot of credit, nationally, for beating those teams. But agree, they're better wins than most probably realize.

None of this matters. There are no Power 5’s with 10 wins outside of the top 12. Were a lock for a NY6 bowl and probably are ahead of UW in the CFP rankings. Hopefully Utah can shut down Gaskin and sneak out a win against UW. Then all will be right in the world with UW to San Antonio.

Not sure we are a lock and wouldn’t count on UW not jumping us. If they beat Utah they most definitely will. Voters don’t care that a blizzard killed our offense.

It doesn't matter if UW jumps you or not , if they take care of Utah they are in the Rose Bowl period.

The teams WSU needs to worry about are the other potential at-large teams > Penn. State, Florida, LSU and UCF. Really just not to stay ahead of one of them and you will get an at-large bid.

We want Texas to lose to avoid Oklahoma being in the mix for an at large berth too.

Just my opinion, but Penn State hasn’t done a thing worthy of being in the top 15. I hope that LSU drops, but that’s a hope.

Voters don't have any impact on the CFP rankings. The CFP committee had us #8 when the AP had us #10 in weeks 10 & 11. In week 13, the AP had moved us up to #7.....the CFP said, "Nope....still #8". They actually look at the teams and rank teams according to how good that they think they are. I'm confident that the CFP committee will take into account that we played in a blizzard and not punish needlessly. They'll reward the Huskies for beating us. When you look at our body of work, we beat two teams that beat UW and that will be considered. Does that mean we'll still be ahead of UW? Not necessarily, but we might be.

The other polls are interesting and give insight into how we are being viewed, but they aren't the end all, be all. Tuesday is the only poll that matters in terms of what bowl we go to.

They specifically said that they don't consider a team's history, but weigh how the team is playing at the moment when they make their picks.

Of course they apply that as they deem necessary to keep their favorites buoyed in the rankings.

Along with things like "body of work" and my personal favorite "out of conference schedule." Why would OOC schedule matter more than just old fashioned strength of schedule. Bama and Georgia's OOC schedules are straight garbage.

What a crock from the CFP committee. They have about as much football savvy as Air Bud: Golden Receiver. Their rankings are a weekly scandal. Not only do they consider a team's entire season, they consider the last 50 years. They are to football evaluation what a 16-year pubescent boy whose favorite movie is THE TERMINATOR is to the Academy Awards.
