Who was the Cougar player that had a friend that played for UW, and went into their weight room with him and proceeded to put up a ridiculous amount of weight on the bench press that blew away their gym record?
Josh Dunning might be who he was thinking about. He was an offensive lineman in the late 80's and early 90's. He was that strong. I believe he put up around 600 lbs.Erik Howard is the only player at WSU that could pull off a feat like that. If memory serves, he had the DL bench record at 550 or so. I don't think WSU has had anyone since that could put up that kind of number or anywhere near it.
Makes sense. The steroids were better late 80s, early 90s.
