I think that is really the same person in both pictures.
Paul Allen gave $26M to WSU for the Paul Allen School of Global Animal Health. Of course he also gave an estimated $64M to the uw for various academic and research things. He never, to my, knowledge, ever gave much to WSU Athletics (correct me if I'm wrong). Funny for a guy who went to WSU, put money into his frat at WSU, and owned the Seahawks and Blazers. Somewhere along the way we must have pissed him off.
