Stevie "Fireball!" Sarky says...

"Where's my cheerleader friend?!" - Steve Sarkheisel

Since Sark has left the horrible place that is montlake I personally don't have any grudge against him. (Obviously until we play USC). I feel the same about Neuheisal. I think they are nice people that basically took a job for the devil and now are free.

When they were there I hated them. Now that they left. They are okay by me.

What a clown. Hope someone comes up with a full video of his speech, because that little snipet was hilarious.

The weasel owned us but I grew to like him during his stint on the Pac12 network. Haven't yet reached that level of respect for Sarkisian yet. The guy strikes me as a bit of a buffoon. At least Uncle Mikey had the presence of mind to confine his misadventures to strip clubs. I am just wondering how this guy expects to be respected as a leader by his players when he behaves in public like an obnoxious and immature drunken clown. Haden must be seething.

Agree with 90 that a full video would be interesting. Frankly, though, the little snippet was more than enough for me.

What did he do? I missed it.

Gave a drunken profane rant at a team, fan and donors preseason gathering. Should be a number of references to it on Google.

There is a link to just the "fvcking fight on" snippet on the premium board.

Checked the Google and saw on the internets that he's been going through a divorce too.

Talk about stressful times!

Not surprised by his divorce. Rumors were pretty rampant while he was at the uw that he was involved in various marital indiscretions. The stress he is under is of his own making. No sympathy from me.

Damn you, Yaki, I was trying to forget I ever saw that. Inebriated slurred gibberish backed up by USC cheerleaders waving their pompoms while smiling happily as if everything is normal. "Yay, team. Our leadership is made of sloshed fools. Rah, rah, sis boom bah!!" And hearing the crowd openly laughing at him tops it all off nicely. A classic bit of absurdity. John Belushi couldn't pull a skit like this off on Saturday Night Live any better.

Well, we're not turning handsprings over it, as you can imagine. I do think his divorce is exacerbating things but it is not creating this. I have stopped posting about it, but as I have said before, I think we hired a kid to do a man's job. He blamed combining meds and booze but what person (over 12) doesn't know about that? So I'm not buying that.....sad

I don't give much credence to the theory that his divorce had any great impact on his behavior. If even a few of the rumors about his behavior in Seattle were true then he should have seen the end of his marriage coming and expected it. Your observation about combining booze with meds is spot on. (Do we know if he was even taking any meds?) And Fireball? We're not talking a nicely aged Cab here, are we? I am with you on the sadness of the situation. A grown man with responsibilities behaving like an out of control frat boy or high schooler is indeed sad. I've never before had any sympathy for USC. They already have enough going for them and don't need my commiseration or encouragement. But, in this case, I do hope they can put this behind them as quickly as possible. The school does not deserve this. Sark is on his own as far as I am concerned. He brought this on himself and, unfortunately, also on USC.

Talking to a guy who is pretty close to the program apparently UW had to change hotels for home games because he was getting busy with the concierge gal. Just rumor but from what i heard seems to be pretty validated.
