First set of good news for the Cougars is that Arizona lost to ASU 4-1. Going into this weekend's slate of games, Arizona was ahead of WSU in third place. With the victory over the uw and Arizona's loss, WSU jumps them in the standings. So, the worst WSU can finish now is tied for third with California (if Cal wins tonight). Cal is currently tied at the half with first place Stanford 0-0.

Definitely. It's hard to believe the mutt women haven't beaten WSU in the last 12 matches.

CAL and Stanford tied 1-1. So, the Cougars finish in 3rd place in the Pac 12 behind 1st place Stanford, 2nd place USC and ahead of 4th place CAL and Arizona.
