Where do you guys believe WSU will be ranked come Sunday? Currently we’re at 26 in the coaches poll and 28th in the AP poll. Are there any teams ahead of us that are poised to drop out of the top 25?

I predict we come in at 24th in the Coaches poll and 26th in AP poll. Miami loses to Virginia and A&M loses to SC, pushing the only 5-1 (left out) team into the top 25 of the coaches poll.

If #17 Oregon gets thumped by UW.....they may drop out. If #19 CU gets whipped by USC, they might be gone. I don't know if the voters would value 5-1 WSU over 4-2 Wisconsin (currently #15) if Michigan knocks off the Badgers.

I don't see Tennessee beating #21 Allbarn but the Tigers are 1-2 in the SEC and their sole conference win is over a pretty bad Arkansas team. #13 LSU won't fall enough for us to jump past them if they get beaten by Georgia. #22 Texas A&M "should" beat South Carolina but they would definitely fall out of the polls with a loss.

So, with all that said, I expect us to get into the Top 25 of the Coaches Poll because I don't see both Oregon and CU winning and it wouldn't be a shocker for one of the other upsets to happen so I agree with your pick of #24 in the Coaches Poll. As far as the AP poll goes, I'm going to agree with you there as well and say that we are just barely on the outside looking in.

If all the favored teams win this Saturday...that would be a surprise, but it is possible...then I think we squeak in at # 25.

Good point on Wisconsin. They should drop out with 3 losses and a devestating loss to a terrible BYU team. Auburn is reeling right now with a fractured locker room and a premadona QB who’s Uncle likes to slam the head coach on social media. I could see Auburn losing tomorrow. Regardless, it’s going to be a great, stress free, weekend.

I don't think we enter the polls this week. Especially if Iowa beats Indiana. In that case, they get in ahead of us. USF is trailing Tulsa early, which could make a spot for us, but other than that I don't see anyone near the bottom of the poll that is a) playing this week, b) likely to lose, and c) likely to get punished severely by the voters for losing. Colorado isn't going to drop out for losing to USC, and Oregon won't drop out for losing to UW...unless they get beat by 40.

Honestly, I expect we'll lose votes this week.

Htf is Wisconsin 4-2 at #15?? The polls are so ridiculously stupid this time of year.
