If he is a good man in life, good. All I know about him is that he left WSU and after he did, he was ripping Leach and the coaching staff in the media. He also thought WSU couldn't win with Leach.Jake Rodgers is a really good kid. He may not have lined up with Leach's vision - but by no means was he a troublemaker or dissenter. Used to coach against him and he was a class act. Good leader, good competitor. Don't paint him as something he wasn't.
Was he a troublemaker or dissenter? Neither of us were there so I cannot say, and really, neither can you. But, by his own words we do know that he was not on board and that he was not one to hold his tongue. Do you really think that he didn't have conversations with his teammates? So, I am confident in saying that his leaving was addition by subtraction.
That does not mean he is a bad person. It does mean it was a good thing he left to Eastern.
